We are:

Paul O'Neill - Lead singer, guitarist and front man of The Roving Crows. Paul originates from Kildare in Ireland. Paul spent 12 years in New York where he trained as an actor at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, he is a playwright and spent 5 years as a member of the Writing Lab at the Neighbourhood Playhouse in New York. Now based in Cheltenham where his play 'The Brothers' is being produced alongside a David Mamet play at the Everyman Theatre and is being shown from the 1st-3rd October 09.  Paul has been writing songs for many years and the Crows album which will be released in October will feature many of his original songs.

Caitlin Barrett - Fiddle player and singer.  Caitlin originates from Downings in County Donegal where she developed her strident and formidable fiddle style.  She was a member of the Birmingham branch of Comhaltas where she was in the team that entered the Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann in Ballina, Co Mayo.  Caitlin's style has been influenced by many great fiddle players including Donegal born Mairead Ni Mhaonaigh, Martin McGinley and Tommy Peoples. Other influences include Paul O'Shaughnessy, Martin Hayes, Ciaran Tourish, and modern Irish bands Lunasa & Kila.

Marc Miletitch - Double Bass and elecric bass. Marc originates from Paris where he played with several rock bands before moving to Worcester. Since then, he has been involved in the local music scene, having played bass in various successful folk, rock and country bands in the area. Marc’s favourite double bass players are Danny Thompson (Pentangle, Nick Drake, John Martyn), Trevor Hutchinson (Lunasa) and Aristazabal Hawkes (Guillemots) amongst others. Marc is also a member of the double bass section of the Worcestershire Symphony Orchestra.

Josh Balen - Josh is our new drummer, a very talented musician, proficient on a diverse range of percussion instruments ranging from the full drum kit to djembe, tabla and bodhran which adds yet another dimension to The Roving Crows!  Josh started playing the drums at just 5 years old and gains his talents from a long line of musicians.  Having been heavily involved in various Jazz, Funk, Latin & Rock bands most of his life, Josh has attended the national Jazz Orchestra of Scotland and has gained qualifications at Drum Tech in London.
